Meet Kipanya / Meet Mr Mouse

Kipanya, (or Mr Mouse in English) is one of Tanzanias famous cartoons. The cartoonist himself, Masoud, whom most people simply calls him Kipanya, is one of the most talented artists in the world in my opinion. Anybody who has seen his works would agree with me without a flinch.

Kipanya has been around for a long time. Kipanya cartoons appears in a daily paper in Tanzania, Majira, and most people have confessed that the first thing they look at after getting
their hands on the Majira news paper is look at Kipanya, just to start their day on a happy note.

Now look at Kipanya trying to have a luxury shower and complaining to Mrs Kipanya about the pressure of water being too low! Lol!
And Poor Mrs Kipanya thinking "I think this marriage is sooo over..."Lol! Ooooohhhh boy...

chakula safi cha Kitanzania. Sahani ya wali mweupe. pembeni kuna chungu chenye maharage ya nazi, halafu chungu chenye bamia na nyanya chungu, halafu chungu cha kisamvu kilichoungwa kwa nazi! Yummmmyyyy... Do I make you hungry?

Wali = cooked rice

Maharage ya nazi = beans cooked with coconut milk

Bamia na nyanya chungu = Okra with bitter tomatoes.

Kisamvu = cassava leaves cooked with coconut milk
